Frequently Asked Questions
To enter the Dumpster area, Waterwood residents will need an RFID tag. Homeowners must be current on HOA dues or on a payment plan to have dumpster privileges. RFID tags may be obtained in the Waterwood Improvement Association, Inc. office. *Please note that cameras are recording in the dumpster area, so anyone dumping non-household trash could be subject to fines and/or have garbage privileges suspended. Please help your community and hold down costs by abiding by the posted rules.
The first and third Mondays of the month, the Waterwood Improvement Association, Inc. maintenance crew picks up bagged leaves, bundled sticks, and small limbs curbside. PLEASE DO NOT PUT HOUSEHOLD TRASH WITH THE LEAVES. The bags are taken to the compost/debris site and opened.Â
Waterwood Improvement Association, Inc. does not offer curb pick up of large items, such as appliances, furniture, lawn equipment, etc. The property owner/resident is responsible for disposal of these items.
Home mail delivery is not available. UPS, FedEx, and DHL deliver to Waterwood homes. The U.S. Postal Service delivers mail to postal boxes located in a central community facility. The post office boxes are $40 per year and managed by Palmer Real Estate. Boxes that are too large for postal lockers are stored inside the Palmer Office. Parcels will also be placed inside the Palmer office (with prior authorization from the customer) if there are no available lockers.
*If you are new to the neighborhood, be sure your MAILING address is on all documents, including mortgages, insurance policies, and property addresses. Most Waterwoodians use both addresses to be safe where ordering packages is concerned.
